Interested in a PhD in basic or applied research in the Australian wine industry?
Generous postgraduate research opportunities are currently available to join the National Wine & Grape Industry Centre/Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga
These projects offer a unique opportunity to work on industry-linked projects with leading grape and wine researchers and industry partners in horticulture and wine production.
Projects on offer span the grape and wine production chain, almonds, avocados and cider apples. Areas of research include; plant science and physiology, viticulture, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, oenology, organic/analytical chemistry, food science, fermentation and process technology, and wine sensory science.
The positions will be based at The National Wine and Grape Industry Centre at Charles Sturt University (Wagga Wagga, NSW).

Applications are open to suitably qualified Australian and New Zealand domestic students. Successful applicants will receive an indicative stipend of $27,082 per annum for three years (PhD), as well as generous project operating funds.
