Synthetic Biology of cell factories for production of particulate vaccines against Pseudmonas aeruginosa infections

Bacterial cell factories will be engineered to synthesise and assemble innovative particulate vaccines preventing infection by the opportunistic human pathogen Pseudomonas aeuginosa. This research project will use a range of experimental techniques ranging from engineering production strains to biochemical and immunological characterisation of vaccine materials to the establishment of a biotechnological production process development.
