Professor William Burnett Research Fellowship

This scholarship is a Philanthropic Research Higher Degree, Living plus Scholarship.

The value of the scholarship in this round is $45,000 per annum in stipend payments. A tuition scholarship is also available to successful applicants. The scholarship may be held for the maximum duration stipulated in the 4.80.01 UQ Research Scholarships Policy, with approval by the UQ Graduate School Dean and on compliance with all conditions stated therein.

This scholarship round is for a Research Quarter 4 (October), 2017 commencement.

Selection criteria

Applicants will be ranked on the basis of:

academic achievement and potential for scholastic success;
the potential for the proposed use of the fellowship to advance research in the field of surgery; and
any other matters the selection committee sees fit.
