Yarramundi Higher Degree Research Scholarships

The University invites applications from Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander candidates seeking to undertake a research higher degree in 2008.

The Yarramundi Scholarship scheme aims to strengthen and support Indigenous participation in higher degree research at UWS.  Two scholarships are available for candidates seeking admission to higher degree research at either Masters Honours or doctoral level.

Eligibility: Applicants must demonstrate Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Heritage

Disciplines: These scholarships are available across all disciplines, subject to UWS being able to supervise and resource the project. Applicants should submit a short research proposal with their application.

Stipend: $32,500 per annum (tax-free).  Successful candidates will also be awarded a Research Training Scheme funded place in the course.
