Thunderstorm Asthma, Physics and Climate Change
A prestigious interdisciplinary Scientia PhD scholarship is available at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine and the Climate Change Research Centre at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
Each awardee will receive a stipend for 4 years ($40,000 per annum), a tuition fee waiver for 4 years and a travel/support package of up to $10,000 per annum. Furthermore, professional and career development will be provided throughout their candidature. These scholarships are highly competitive.
The project lies at the intersection of health and climate change, with health effects of climate and climate change a rapidly growing concern. The project would allow the student to work with top researchers in multiple Faculties at the university to be at the forefront of this new disciplinary intersection.
